I just read your article on Rosalito who has just "come down" with EMF sensitivity. I can empathize with her on this problem. My life is made much more difficult from EMF sensitivity after 35 years in the space program working around a lot of R.F., and later working with commercial radio transmitters. When personal computers were brought in, it got a lot worse because of the EMF pulses from these. Even the one I am on now causes a lot of pain. There is no cure, but only abstinence and some dietary changes.
Hi Dave, This marks my 40th year with electromagnetic poisoning, 33 of which I didn't know what was wrong. Yes, I agree -- there is no cure to electromagnetic poisoning any more than from mercury poisoning with continuing exposures. What I have found is increasing resilience and reduced sensitivity by living in a pristine environment. I hope you have as well.
Hi Keith: My environment is terrible. Very crowded. When I moved here 50 years ago there was nothing but wild animals. But a year later everyone and their mother started building houses here. Now i'm surrounded with over 10,000 people and all the pollution that comes with it. Not counting the 23,000 volt three phase power line that was just put in 60 feet from where I try to sleep. On fire most of the time from that. But cannot afford to move. Am retired now, but it would cost over $500,00 to get the place I need on enough acreage to keep people from moving in on me. Now there is "Snowflake, Arizona" where a lot of people move to that have EMF sens. and chemical sensitivity, but that is also VERY expensive.
Thank you Keith. I will look at what you sent, but being able to move is a very complicated situation here for me. I have a large house loaded with a lot of expensive collectables. I have been selling off these bit by bit for years, but have hardly made a dent in it. Now i'm 81 years old and failing in health rapidly. Am diagnosed with 17 separate conditions which I have to exist with every day. The two worst are multiple chemical sensitivity and all food allergies. The chemical problems make it to where I cannot stay in a motel or hotel if I leave here to go look at a place to live anyhow. Motel rooms are loaded with chemicals of all kinds such as fabric softeners in bed clothes. Carpets sprayed with insecticides and scented products. All of these and more send my blood pressure over 200 systolic. So basically i'm stuck here in the lesser of all evils because my house is reasonably livable except for the EMF from outside. And I do know about the shielding. That can be a complicated mess if you don't know what you are doing. In fact if you envelope your house in shielding materials, there is always a chance you will trap certain frequencies inside and set up a resonant chamber, (Tuned cavity), and make matters a lot worse. Unfortunately I could write volumes on this, but get too complex with details that would run most people off. Ha! And I can't stay on here that long anyhow because of the pain.
